Electrics Over Tidewater. Join us on Saturday and Sunday the 19-20th of September for the Mid-Atlantics premier Electric Fly-In. This will be our 10th annual “Electrics Over Tidewater” or “EOT” as we like to call it. The event will be held at the beautiful Newport News Park R/C Club. Night flying till the cows come home on the night of the 19th. This is a low key fun fly with maybe an event or two thrown in, depends on the mood everyone is in…Of course there will be a few sessions of full contact, fly whatever you want, combat. If it’s electric and it flies, bring it!! We have a very nice 400′ long paved runway that is very friendly to electrics of all types. And all types of aircraft are welcome. From micro to giant scale, heli’s and quads, and whatever else is propelled by electric as long as it flies. AMA membership is required as this is a sanctioned event at an AMA field. Landing fee for one/or both days is only $15. Lunch will be provided on Saturday and once again will feature “Raptor Afterburner Chili”.
